SCIENTIFIC PROGRESS IN INDIA AFTER INDEPENDENCE : MUHAMMED ASIL PARI. CLASS X .A
Scientific progress in India was lukewarm slow in the initial
years after independence in India. When Americans launched moon mission in 1669
named Apollo 11, including Neil Armstrong who was the first human to touch feet
on moon. India was not even having a
space research organisation at that time. Russia in 1952 released their first satellite
Sputnik 2. Even though we had many extraordinary scientists after British rule
our scientific progress was very bad. But after certain period of the
scientific progress started in India.
Now, India is the one of the biggest military power and space
powers in the world. This is all because of the growing scientific progress in
India. India has tried a project of Chandrayan in 2091, even though failed it
was a great achievement of Indian scientists. India has enormous achievements
in space field like Apple, Edusat, and other satellites; India has built one of
the strongest satellite launching vehicle that is GSLV and PSLV. India has built nuclear bombs .missiles, tanks
aircrafts, war ships and a variety of other defence equipment by itself making
India the fourth biggest military power in the world.
There are many contributions done by our former President A P
J ABDUL KALAM who was called a Missile Man OF India. A P J ABDUL KALAM. Now
India has several institutions for promoting science in Medical and other
fields.
At the time of Corona pandemic India was one of the fastest
country to develop the vaccine against Covid 19 and it was done by Bharath Bio
Tech, ICMR (Indian council of medical research ).Many new medicines and
vaccines for several acute and chronic diseases have been invented by Indian
scientists are arriving internationally. India has launche Mangalyaan in 2008
but did not see success. India has tremendous amount of man power which will
help India reaching in one of the biology India has developed many varieties of
hybrid seeds which will help farmers from pest attacks .Green revolution in
India is one of the biggest achievement of Indian scientists.
Science is one of the things that determine the development
index of a country. So science should be developed for the developments of the
whole country. We had many scientists like C.V.Raman who won Nobel Prize for
his studies about light and it is called Raman Effect.
India’s first satellite made in collaboration with Russia was
named as Aryabhatta to commemorate contributions given by the ancient
Mathematician Aryabhatta in the field of Mathematics. India is the largest exporter
of medicines; India has about fifteen lakh doctors passing out a year which is
distributed all around the world. Even we take in the case of NASA(National Aeronautical
Space Agency ),the largest soace organisation in the world we have many Indians
working over there. Make in India or Athma nirbhar Bharath has promised Indians
to make many of the technologies within India. Many engines have been developed
by Indians.
India has been promoting Indians for developing new
technologies and explores the unexplored part of science with the help of many
programmes. Atal tinkering lab have made many of the Indian brains innovative
Indian institutions like IITs, IISER and
ICAR have made many developments in scientific field and India should continue
to do this to make India the best country in the world. We can hope that India will
attain the top position in scientific field within a few years………
